We are an independently owned business that proudly operates St Nicholas, ranked among the finest boutique hotels in Shrewsbury Shropshire. Over the years, boutique hotels like ours have transformed guests’ expectations, with the ground floor now a vibrant cocktail bar shrewsbury and grill, and the upper floors home to 13 boutique hotel rooms.
There has been a church on this spot since the 12th century, now home to one of the most remarkable boutique hotels Shrewsbury Shropshire. The original building was demolished and replaced by the Presbyterian Chapel of St Nicholas in December 1870, remaining until the congregation relocated in the mid-1970s. Since then, the building has housed offices, a gym, a cafe bar and spa, and most recently, a boutique hotel. Many of the original architectural features endure, including the stunning archways, carved pillars, and stained glass windows.
